6 ways to use the Oh, Baby! Liniment
Blog

My children have grown out of nappies by now. Still, liniment is used daily at our house. Discover below that the liniment is a real all-around product for young and less young πŸ˜‰ ...

1. CLEANING AND protecting your baby's bottom

Our liniment is a real 2-in-1 product.: It cleans and protects the nappy area. It replaces wet wipes and nappy cream in 1 simple movement.

How do you do it? You take a tissue or a large cotton pad, put some liniment on it and clean the nappy area just like you would with a wet wipes. The big difference is that you are then also done straight away. So you don't need to apply any more diaper cream. This is thanks to its handy formula. The formula contains on the one hand lime water that kills bacteria and on the other hand a natural oil, in our case almond oil, to care for and protect the bottom. Almond oil is very rich in minerals and vitamins that strengthen the skin barrier, greatly reducing the risk of redness and irritation. Also, the probiotics ( = good bacteria) in all Oh, Baby! care products create a strengthened hydrolipid barrier to reduce redness and irritation. A great mix to take care of that sensitive nappy area with the goodness of Mother Nature. Bye, bye red bottoms πŸ‘!

2. CLEAN your babies MOUTH IN CASE OF PERIORAL DERMATITIS

Besides cleaning your bottom, you can also use our organic liniment to clean your hands and mouth. Especially in case of perioral dermatitis, the redness around a child's mouth. Cleaning the red mouth with water can sometimes make the redness worse. Water can often be harsh on damaged skin. Therefore, take some liniment on a tissue and clean the mouth. This will also help soothe redness and repair the skin. Should a little product get into the mouth, it will do absolutely no harm.

3. Remove make-up

When my children come back from a party and their faces are painted in a dino or a princess, I remove the make-up with our natural liniment. You can put the liniment on a tissue or wash cloth to clean the face. Some children's skins can be sensitive to make-up. The liniment will also immediately soothe and soften the skin, reducing redness.

Since a few weeks now, I myself have been using the liniment to de-mint myself. I apply the liniment on a cotton pad and rub it all over my face, including my eyes.

4. AFTER-SUN

Our liniment contains stearic acid. This ingredient is often used in creams to treat burns.

Why is this ingredient in our liniment? Well, urine actually burns the skin, therefore we immediately want to counteract and soothe those 'burns'. This also ensures that when someone, young or old, has minor burns, you can soothe those 'wounds' with the liniment. I recommend it mostly for sunburns. Then you can rub the liniment over the red areas just like an after-sun. This will immediately reduce redness, cool down the skin and help to heal burns.

5. TO REMOVE πŸ’© ONCE YOUR CHILD GOES ON THE POTTY OR The tOILET.

Years after my kids are out of diapers, the Oh, Baby! liniment is still standard in our toilet. I use it regularly to rub the πŸ’© bottom clean. You can simply apply the liniment on toilet paper and flush. You will notice that cleaning the bottom is much easier and, even at that age, it avoids redness.

6. ALL AROUND RESCUE CREAM πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈ

Actually, my whole family uses the liniment for nearly everything.

  • Red noses from the cold
  • Itching from sticking plasters
  • On scabs from wounds that sometimes start to itch
  • As body milk
  • To treat cradle cap
  • For a baby massage
  • For haemorrhoids
  • ... You name it

Thanks to the handy pump system, the product is easy to use, spreads easily, has a very neutral smell (perfume-free) and really works wonders πŸ’«.

Handy, such a natural product for the whole family, which also exists in take-home format!
