Aqua simply stands for water. The water we use is thermal and therefore has a soothing and calming effect on the skin.

Acacia Senegal Gum or also called gum arabic. It is obtained from the trunk and the leaves of different types of African acacia and is used as a natural thickening and binding agent. By mixing with water, it forms a kind of gel that improves the texture of the products.

Aloe Babadensis leaf extract or Aloe Vera extract for short. It hydrates and repairs the skin, calms irritations, soothes itching and has an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effect thanks to the rich cocktail of vitamins A, B, C and E and minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium, zinc and sulphur .

Alpha Glucan Oligosaccharide is obtained by an enzymatic reaction of the sucrose and maltose molecules. The sucrose is extracted from sugar beet. The maltose is extracted from wheat. Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide also works as a prebiotic and thus promotes the growth and recovery of the good bacteria (probiotics).

These are probiotics (= good bacteria) that come from a fermentation process of the GRAS (generally recognized as safe) bacteria. Sugar beet molasses is used as an energy source to grow bacteria during fermentation.

BENZOIC ACID is a preservative naturally present in cranberries and derived from the storax tree.

In these formulas, it serves as a natural preservative and ensures that our products have a shelf life of 3 years.

Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride is a plant oil that moisturizes and cares for the skin. It also adds a rich texture to the body milk.

Cetearyl Alcohol is a plant oil that gives our body milk a rich, stable structure. In addition, it also has moisturizing properties.

'Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate', 'Sodium Cococyl Glutamate' and 'Coco-Glucoside' together ensure that the Body Wash & Shampoo foams nicely and at the same time remains mild on the skin. All 3 come from the coconut and are therefore very biodegradable.

Coco-Caprylate / Caprate comes from the coconut and is therefore biodegradable. It is a natural alternative to a mineral oil. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. In addition, together with the sunflower oil, it allows the product to be kept (closed) for up to 3 years.

A natural vegetable wax obtained from the leaves of Copernicia cerifera palm or the Brazilian fan palm. Thanks to the protective layer that the wax forms on the skin surface, it prevents the skin from drying out. The skin becomes softer and more hydrated. The wax is biodegradable.

This non-ionogenic binding agent is derived from olive oil and helps blend ingredients in cosmetic formulas. It hydrates and softens the skin, and repairs the skin barrier while giving the formulas a smooth and luxurious feel.

Glyceryl Citrate / Lactate / Linoleate / Oleate is esterified glycerine with citric, lactic, linoleic and oleic acid. This ingredient is of vegetable origin. It also slows down water loss by forming a protective barrier.

Glyceryl Stearate is obtained from various plant oils and provides a silky soft feeling.

Sunflower oil, obtained from cold-pressed sunflower seeds, is a source of essential fatty acids, mainly linoleic acid, and vitamin E. It has anti-inflammatory properties, reduces free radicals, deeply nourishes, moisturizes and regenerates the skin.

Inulin is obtained by extracting water from the root of the chicory plant. It acts as a prebiotic and thus promotes the growth and recovery of the good bacteria (probiotics).

Lactic Acid is a natural probiotic obtained during the natural fermentation of sugars and milk bacteria. Lactic acid is one of the main components of NMF - Natural Moisturizing Factor. It promotes skin hydration, while retaining the right amount of moisture in the epidermis. This makes the skin soft, smooth and radiant. One of the most important properties of lactic acid is its antibacterial effect on the skin. This acid frees the pores of the skin, allowing them to be cleaned.

Lecithin is mainly obtained from soy and to a lesser extent also from sunflower and other seeds. Thanks to its B vitamins and anti-oxidants, it has a nourishing effect on the skin and hair. The hair shines and loses its static charge. Lecithin protects the skin from excessive moisture loss. It facilitates the absorption of the active substances. This substance has proven useful in treating various skin conditions such as psoriasis or acne.

Potassium sorbate is obtained from rowan oil. It is used as a natural preservative and is therefore a good alternative to parabens.

Almond oil leaves the skin feeling beautifully soft and helps to strengthen the skin's natural hydrolipidic barrier. Ideal for daily care of baby’s skin.

Stearic acid is a fatty acid derived from coconut and therefore highly biodegradable. Stearic acid acts as an emulsifier or binding agent. This means it helps water and oil to mix and form an emulsion. It also leaves the skin feeling soft. Studies also show that stearic acid helps to heal burns.

This binding agent is derived from olive oil. It helps water-based and oil-based ingredients to stay blended. It ensures that products have a nice, smooth, spreadable texture without a soapy film. What’s more? Sorbitan Olivate is also a surfactant, which means it helps to rinse oil away from the skin and as such, it also cleanses the skin.

Tocopherol is also referred to as Vitamin E and acts as an anti-oxidant. This can help protect the skin against harmful external influences (pollution, stress, ...).
